Newsletter - 5 October 2018
From the President:
On Tuesday morning there were 20 children in the club playing cards, ranging from Hearts to mini-bridge to bridge. We hope to see many of them, plus others, next Tuesday morning.
Also last Tuesday a bottle brush plant was planted at the club in memory of our late member Ronnie Carlson. Her sons, John and Rod, have kindly donated it to CBC. We appreciate this beautiful addition to our garden.
Many of us enjoyed BFACT’s Canberra in Bloom Congress last weekend. It was superbly organised in a good new venue. Please find results below.
Best wishes,
Pam

Bidding Boxes Needing Attention
Would players please place any inadequate bidding boxes in the cardboard box at the front of the Barry Turner Room, that is boxes missing bidding cards or damaged boxes?
Perelle will fix them up and put them back into circulation.
If your bidding box has duplicate bidding cards in it, please place those cards in the box at the front also.
