Thank you once again to the wonderful Bridge4Kids team – Patricia McDonald, Bev Crossman, Bruce Crossman, Susie Ryrie – who helped 23 children to enjoy playing cards in the holidays.
Best wishes,

Dealing
Some volunteers are helping CBC again by dealing boards for the Swiss Pairs event on the middle weekend of the Summer Festival of Bridge. Our club earns income from their labour.
More helpers are needed – the significant requirement is that you cannot play in those events on 11-12 January.

Please note that this year the Club has a new bank account, and the BSB and account number for direct deposits has changed. If you renew by direct deposit, please ensure to check and update our bank account details that will be included on the renewals email.

S. Gilbert's response to being told that the words 'ruddy' and 'bloody' meant the same thing was: "Not at all, for that would mean that if I said that I admired your ruddy countenance, which I do, I would be saying that I liked your bloody cheek, which I don't.”
